Your team must be composed of 2 or 5 students or young graduates (less than 2 years). We invite you to create a team with various profiles: technicians, business schools, engineering, architecture, planning, design, sociology, university courses…
Multidisciplinary teams are more likely to bring out the more relevant ideas: innovation usually results from a combination of skills and talents.
You can also join an incomplete team if you want to share your skills and put all your chance on your side.
Don't hesitate to use Studyka’s platform to find your teammates and partners. The experience will be more rewarding!
A first proposal will help the jury composed of Engie managers to preselect the 25 teams who proposed the most interesting projects. You will be asked for this first step to download a pre-selection file that details your ideas and describes your team. All files must be written in English or in French.
This document must be uploaded on the platform before the 15/11/2015, 11:59pm
The selected teams will have to describe their idea in 15 slides or so.
Moreover, you are free to add any deliverables that you think useful to enhance your project. You can add any form of file, videos, sketch, functional prototype, graphics or even smartphone application concept for example.
Your project will have to be discovered and understood in 15 slides, as the jury will have plenty of projects to evaluate in a short amount of time.
These documents must be uploaded on the platform before the 23/12/2015, 11:59pm.
During this step, Engie experts will help you to detail your project and give you advice to develop it. You’ll be able to communicate with them through the platform. In order to request an expert, you will have a joker that you can use to get a chat session or a videoconference via your team space.
The jury’s members will evaluate each project: 5 teams will be chosen as finalists of the challenge. The final ranking of these 5 teams will be determined at the end of their presentation in front of the jury composed of Engie experts. This final will take place on January 2016.
This oral presentation, with a visual document, will last 10 minutes + 5 minutes of questions/answers. The jury's deliberations will announce the laureates after the presentations.
Right before the great final we will ask you to realize a 2-minutes video resuming your concept (even a sequence shot with a smartphone will be enough). Then, collaborators of Engie will be able to give a special jury prize during the final.
Your files will be evaluated based on these criteria:
1/ Originality of the proposal in terms of innovation, usage, technology, economic model, etc.
2/ Impact and Relevance: adaption to the local or international stakes and to the themes
3/ The feasibility of the implementation
