Imagine the Campus of Tomorrow 

The final of the “Imagine the Campus of Tomorrow” Challenge organized by the Paris-Saclay campus took place on Friday, June 5th , at the Linear Accelerator Laboratory in the scientific center of Orsay.

The finalist teams were exceptionally six. They had the opportunity to present their innovative solutions to develop a more dynamic campus to a jury composed of partners such as EDF, Sodexo, SODEARIF, Crédit Agricole, The Family or Renault.

New apps, new services or innovative products were presented during this wonderful final.

Discover the final projects and the best moments of this afternoon: round-table debate, final project presentations, awards ceremony and discussion between the jury members and the students around a networking cocktail especially organized for the event.

1st Team : L'Arbre

L’Arbre team with Hanaé Lépine, Henri Aubin and Alexis Bartouilh De Taillac (Centrale Supélec).

Their project: L'arbre is going to be an innovative and symbolic meeting point that will have three objectives.
The first is to incarnate the university new identity through a tangible object, which is an architectural, technological and artistic symbol. The second is to involve the community of Saclay in a collaborative and pedagogic project. The third is to invent a new way of communication between the University and companies.

2nd Team : Quantum

Quantum team with Velin Koychev (TechnicalUniversity of Sofia), Nasteva Mima (University of Architecture Civil Engineering and Geodesy) and Ivo Anev (University of National and World Economy).

Their project: SRC Paris-Saclay is a mobile app that provides localization and navigation inside and outside the buildings in the campus! It allows you to see on the map where are your friends or professors and to send them messages.
The application gives you the option to find new friends, interesting events and important information about your classes.

3rd Team : YoSoy

YoSoy Team with Pierre-François Lucet, Pierre Dubreuil and Karl Bertoli (Télécom ParisTech).

Their project: YouCanStart is a start-up incubator made by students for students. YCS is an association “loi 1901” composed by about twenty students from every Paris-Saclay schools. Members’ missions will be to promote entrepreneurship, to give start-up financing advice and to help them find partners all over the campus. 

4th Team : Je Suis Saclay

Je suis Saclay team with Amandine Moutte, Nicolas Tastevin (Télécom ParisTech) and Thomas-David Jayet (ENS Cachan).

Their project: Intern Paris-Saclay social network is a Community App, listing students, researchers, professors, and companies’ members of the campus.  Even if the dynamic map and the badge make the mobility easier, the platform also lists events corresponding to the user preferences.

5th Team : Mon Saclay

The MonSaclay team with Giorgio Maltese (Politecnico Di Milano), Dmitry Koshelev (IOGS – Novossibirsk) and Silvia Bottà (Istituo Marangoni).

Their project: MonSaclay is an application dedicated to students, professors and administrations. It allows students to manage customized schedules, as well as join and create campus activities, presented with full description and details, and add them with a click. An external notification system reminds deadlines and upcoming events.

6th Team : Pari'nnovation

The Pari’nnovation team with Nabil Cherouana, Gautier Lagarde and Caroline Romain (Centrale Supélec).

Their project: The current innovative eco-system is not favorable to fail. We want to change this, that is why we want to create a second chance incubator to humanly and financially help entrepreneurs who’s already experienced one or several fails. This will permit to create a helping community and a strong entrepreneur’s network inside the Paris-Saclay campus.
