Challenge timeline

Team

Your team must be composed of 2 or 3 members, students or young alumni (2014).
Innovation usually results from a combination of skills and talents. That is why we strongly recommend you to form up multidisciplinary teams, as they will be more likely to bring out the most relevant ideas.

The Future Store Challenge in 3 steps

1st step: Preselections

A first proposal will help the Preselection Jury select the 25 teams who offered the most relevant projects. You will be asked in this first step to fill up a preselection file that details your ideas and describes your team. All files must be written in English.

This document must be completed and uploaded on the platform before March 28, 2016 at 23:59 (GMT+1).

2nd step: Project Development

Start date: April 10, 2016

The 25 teams who passed the Preselection will have to submit a more detailed report about their project.

Moreover, you are free to add any deliverables that you think useful to enhance your project. You can add any file you want. For example you can add videos, sketches, functional prototype, graphics or even smartphone application concept.

Your project will have to be discovered and understood in 20 slides, as the jury will have plenty of projects to evaluate in a short amount of time.

This report (written in English) must be uploaded on the platform before May 13, 2016 at 23:59 (GMT+1).

3rd step: Final

June 2016.

The 5 finalist teams will have to prepare the oral presentation they will perform during the Final. This event will take place in June 9* (*precise place to be announced shortly).

This oral presentation will have to be performed along with a visual presentation. It will last 10 minutes and it will be followed by a 5-minute session of Q&As.

At the end of these presentations, a prestigious Grand Jury* will deliberate in order to select the winning team (*members of the Grand Jury to be announced shortly).

The announcement of the winners, the prize-giving ceremony and the cocktail will be a great opportunity to exchange in an informal way. This event will mark the end of the Future Store Challenge!

Selection criteria

For the Future Store Challenge, the Jury members will assess the projects based on the following criteria:

1) Quality of the diagnosis
2) Originality
3) Precision and relevance of the recommendations
4) Benefits for the stakeholders
